A technically complex & interesting film, shot in Spain, combining both motion-control & time-lapse in one shot to create an ever changing sky as the cars travel across the landscape, eventually stopping to rest at sunset.
I was heavily involved in the post-production process, not just as an editor, but also to coordinate the complex motion-graphics & visual effects, making sure that every element worked together.
The client wanted to create a unique effect, where they sky & background was ever changing, whilst time in the car, virtually stood still - or did it's own thing - or whatever happens in a Rolls Royce.
The synopsis is that a much older man is sat in the back of his long-wheelbase version of the chauffeur driven car, whilst being pursued & overtaken by, a young, beautiful woman.
They eventually come to rest on the plateau of a mountain, overlooking a distant town...
Although the creative concept is a slight enigma to me, the technical challenge of the film was significant & required much planning before & after the shoot.
